Chayofa is one of the localities that make up the municipality of Arona, on the island of Tenerife in the Canary Islands, The locality takes its name from Morro Chayofa, a hill in the area. The term ‘Chayofa’ is of Guanche origin and, according to some authors, means ‘stream, torrent’, It is completely surrounded by the municipality of La Camella, situated approximately 5 kilometres south-east of the municipal capital and at an average altitude of 260 metres above sea level. It is a town comprising residential complexes, with some hotel accommodation. The El Mojón health centre is located here, and the future Hospital del Sur is also situated in this area. The German-speaking Evangelical Church is also located here. The adosado consists of: three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a separate kitchen and a private garage.
